The person has the ability to work with and obtain tight tolerances on parts; checks own work with gauges, calipers and micrometers to document results; has knowledge on various fabrication processes including MIG, TIG, and arc welding; can work with nuclear and commercial level quality requirements, possess strong 'shop math' skills; can read blueprints, and has good problem solving skills.
