Human Performance Coaches working in personal training help individuals and groups improve fitness and physical performance. Responsibilities include assessing client needs, designing exercise programs, demonstrating proper technique, monitoring progress, and adjusting training. Communication, motivation, and professional client relationships are central to the role. Employment settings include gyms, fitness centers, recreation facilities, and wellness organizations. Awarded Upon Graduation: UHP Certified Personal Trainer Certificate, UHP Mental Health First Responder Certificate, HSI Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED Certification. International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) Certified Personal Trainer Certification Pathway Included! Enrollment in the FHP-CPT program also includes an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer certification opportunity. UHP covers the primary certification cost and provides students with ISSA-specific study materials in addition to UHP's 141-hour curriculum. ISSA CPT Course Final Exam: UHP covers for the student to complete ISSA's online, open-note, non-proctored CPT examination which will result in the ISSA Certified Personal Trainer certification (upon passing).
