ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESo Develop working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, changes orders and other management toolso Develop working understanding of jobsite coordination, schedules, quality control and safetyo Work productively with others in evaluating problems and alternativeso Work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents to properly plan and execute various construction projectso Take ownership of project documentation such as change orders, RFI s, production logs, etc.o Maintain project schedules, budget/costs, and all related reportingo Daily operation of the field officeo Point of contact for other contractors, subcontractors, and vendorso Prepare /submit client submittals, vendor invoices and other miscellaneous itemso Effectively develop engineering solutions to project issueso Maintain strong relations with clientso Real construction project / work exposure; a blend field and office experienceso Perform additional assignments per Project Manager’s / Superintendent’s directionSOFT SKILLSo Excellent Organizational skillso Excellent analytical skillso Problem solving skillso Communication skillso Team playerMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSo High School Diploma or equivalento In progress towards a Bachelor’s degree preferably in (Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management). Creamer's office location is Beltsville, MD, however, construction projects are along the Baltimore to DC corridor. Some travel is required, no overnight stays. Candidates will have access to Creamer vehicles for company travel.
