Job description:
An Intelligence Operations Specialist (0132) supports TSA Intelligence and Analysis operations by conducting supervised vetting and all-source analysis of transportation-worker and passenger encounters; researching known or suspected terrorist nexus information; identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, and intelligence gaps; preparing intelligence reports and briefings; supporting targeting, watchlisting, reporting, or enhanced-vetting activities; conducting authorized publicly available information research; and collaborating with TSA, DHS, Intelligence Community, screening, and law-enforcement partners. Training progresses from closely supervised foundational work to increasingly independent developmental assignments. Any access to classified information, intelligence systems, operational data, or restricted facilities is limited to duties for which the participant possesses the required clearance, access authorization, need to know, and direct supervision; otherwise, sanitized, unclassified, or simulated materials will be used.
