This role plays a critical role in supporting RTI projects by overseeing the delivery, setup, operation, and maintenance of both chemical injection and mechanical rental equipment. This individual ensures the safe staging, connection, and operation of equipment while maintaining project excellence and adhering to specified procedures. Additionally, they provide on-site support, track project status, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts by sharing lessons learned and promoting a culture of safety. Learning Goals:• Understanding RTI project objectives and operational requirements.• Mastery of safe setup and operation procedures for RTI chemistry and mechanical equipment.• Proficiency in directing refinery personnel and contractors for staging and demobilization activities.• Ability to measure and track project status effectively.• Familiarity with tools and techniques for maintaining project excellence.• Knowledge of safety protocols and incident prevention measures in plant settings.• Skill development in performing periodic maintenance on RTI equipment.• Competency in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to equipment operation and maintenance.• Capability to assist Operations and Mechanical Project Managers as needed.• Engagement in continuous learning and improvement to meet RTI's evolving business needs.Supervisory Responsibilities• NoneMinimum Qualifications• Ability to use hand tools to create and maintain operating equipment. • Strong communication skills- written and verbal. • Perform work safely in all settings. • Progressively responsible related field experience and task management. • Experience leading teams or managing large projects. • Ability to pass drug/alcohol and background screenings to acquire access to refinery sites.• Ability to obtain TWIC card and pass safety training requirements. Working Conditions / Physical Demands: The Company requires passing a pre-employment physical in which an objective medical professional will determine whether you can safely meet the physical demands of the position.• Duration of Workhours During Project Executions:• Typically, 12 continuous hours that may extend up to 14 - 16 hours if an emergent need exists.• Day shift and/or night shift.• Working Conditions During Project Executions:• Uneven or unstable ground, and wet, muddy, or slippery surfaces and footings.• Outside locations in extreme temperatures and weather conditions including wind, rain, snow, and other forms of inclement weather.• Physical Demands:• Work at heights up to 150 ft/ 45m accessed via stairs, climbing ladders, or critical lifts by cranes. This requires an ability to climb ladders and stairs without issue.• Lifting and carrying up to 40lbs., without assistance.• Pushing / pulling up to 100 lbs., without assistance.• Standing and walking for up to 12 to 16 hours daily with minimal rest breaks. May exceed 10,000 to 15,000 steps per day.• Bending and stooping repeatedly and performing task including twisting or turning valves and using wrenches and hand tools. Travel RequirementsDepending on the region, travel requirements can vary. Ability to travel 50-100 overnights per year to multiple North American markets to support a growing list of clients. Out of town assignments can range from 3-15 days in length.
