The Production Technician performs a variety of manufacturing and production activities supporting the assembly, disassembly, refurbishment, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of hydraulic actuators, valve assemblies, and related mechanical equipment used within the nuclear power industry. This role operates within a project-based, custom manufacturing environment and follows detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, quality requirements, and safety procedures. The Production Technician works closely with engineering, quality, planning, warehouse, and project management personnel to ensure products are assembled, repaired, and tested in accordance with customer and company requirements.

Program duration and training scope may be expanded or condensed based on participant experience, qualifications, and transition timeline. Due to DoW requirements, candidates must be US citizens. Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
Eligibility factors:
Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force
3-5 years mechanical experience with hydraulic equipment (valves, cylinders, pumps, actuators, etc.)Metal fabrication experience including drilling, tapping, grinding, and cutting.Experience in a “made to order” manufacturing environment.Ability to follow procedures and engineering drawings.Thorough understanding of mechanical systems.Experience with piping and tubing assemblies preferred.Forklift and overhead crane operation desired.
