The candidate will be directly integrated with the customer team (along with other Radiance developers) supporting model and scenario development tasks in the AFSIM framework. Duties will include developing and refining authoritative C++ models, scenarios, and critical mission threads to best support our customer's needs. Tasking will be managed according to modern Agile software development practices. We are focused on finding innovative, self-starters who can adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile development effort supporting our nation's national defense needs.
Job description:
Required Skills:• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field• Strong communication and organizational skills• Active TS/SCI security clearanceRequired Experience:• Minimum of 1 year software development experience• Minimum of 1 year C++, C#, Python, or Java development experience• Experience using source control and CI/CD tools such as git/SVN, Jira, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Gitlab runners, etc.Desired Qualifications• Experience following Agile development processes• Experience with the AFSIM M&S Framework• Experience applying object-oriented design patterns within software applications• Experience with integrated development environments such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, etc.• Familiarity with DoD security practices• Active DoD security clearance
