Essential functionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Performs regular maintenance on aircraft.Project Management: accurately estimates work time and materials for assigned tasks.Fully analyzes all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to troubleshoot, repair and install desired product or part. Qualifications:Required education and experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredActive Duty Military personnelMinimum of 4 years of performing Aircraft MaintenanceApproved by current Command for SkillBridgeActively pursuing A&P mechanic certification by the FAA required.Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.Preferred education and experienceMinimum three years’ transport-category jet aircraft-related experience or have demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform all job tasks preferred.A&P mechanic certification by the FAA required (Airframe only with timeline for obtaining Powerplant certification).Corridor experience preferred.
