Job description:
You'll enroll in our employee-developed Cyber Research course, where students are given the opportunity to work hands-on with an IoT device (taking it apart, downloading its loaded software for further inspection). Additionally, students learn how to analyze the code using disassembly tools, which leads to modifying and debugging the code for the purposes of device exploitation and vulnerability analysis.After completing the course, we pair you with an experienced Praxis engineer to apply your new skills to a real-world, mission-relevant problem. This internship will teach you the skills needed to understand how embedded devices work, and how to analyze them to ensure they are operating securely. This training program will prepare you for positions that relate to embedded development and software reverse engineering.
Located at Praxis HQ in Annapolis Junction, MD -- which is next door to Fort Meade!

Applicants should:- Expect to physically come into the office (Annapolis Junction, MD) at least 50% of the time.- Have some coding experience (C is preferred) and a basic knowledge of assembly language.- Understand that in order to be eligible for a full-time job with Praxis (after SkillBridge ends), we require an active TS/SCI with appropriate polygraph.
