GOHUNT's SkillBridge program is focused on all facets of our business to include E-Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Content, Customer Service, and Warehouse Management opportunities. Interns can spend multiple weeks in each department gaining a thorough understanding of how they can integrate into GOHUNT and the outdoor industry.
Job description:
E-Commerce will cover an in-depth look at how this work center develops new product web-design and integrates the new products into the existing warehouse management infrastructure. Additionally, the intern will be trained on the tip to tail tracking of all sales to include coordination with distributors and shipping companies used by GOHUNT. Lastly, the intern will be presented with sales analysis and projecting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and purchasing needs. Finance will include tracking and paying all incoming invoices from nearly 200 vendors. Understanding employee pay and benefits. Understand the importance of the monthly/yearly P&L (profit and loss statement) and review it with the stake holders to help determine the best path forward for GOHUNT. Marketing will cover how to effectively manage multiple social media accounts on an array of digital platforms. For this, the intern will learn how to take the content they developed in weeks 15-20 and publish them to various internet and social media platforms. The intern will learn how to conduct social media trend analysis and how to expect and prepare for shifts in market desire. Content Production will be an opportunity for the intern to learn the various ways GOHUNT creates digital content. The intern will be shown how to successfully write for digital content, how to produce digital media including photography, videography and digital refinement. Lastly, the intern will learn how to develop and create product reviews and how to integrate those video and article reviews into the e-commerce sites. Customer Service will integrate with the customer service department. Here the intern will learn proper customer service etiquette across multiple forms of communication such as e-mail, phone, and live chat. Additionally, the intern will also learn the procedures used to communicate with the warehouse management and e-commerce teams on resolving customer complaints. The intern will also be trained on complaint tracking, categorizing, and analysis to determine possible trends. Warehouse Management -the intern will be assigned to the Warehouse Management Team. Here the intern will be trained in using the different programs GOHUNT uses to effectively control all movement of inventory to include training on the programs used. The intern will also be trained on the receiving shipments, scheduling, sorting, stocking, and updating inventory, and operating equipment to include forklifts.
