Job description:
Project Telcon's SkillBridge program includes hands on training in the telecommunication industry of fiber optic and copper cables. They will learn how to place underground and aerial cables, bury cables in different types of ground cover, and install inhouse cables by any means necessary. They will have experience with machinery such as bucket trucks, backhoes, boring machines, pneumatic piercing tools, and hands on experience maintaining IT rooms. With these skills they can achieve work in the telecommunications industry as a manager. Work alongside a handcrew team, start their own business, or lead into a corporate job with internet suppliers such as AT&T and Comcast.
Project Telcon LLC provides an exciting opportunity to break into the telecommunications industry. By having a unique combination of hands on experience and digital work you can learn how internet cables work in reality in on-site situations as well as how to invoice and work with large companies like AT&T. Additionally, there are occasions to work in multilingual teams and have diverse experience.
