CDL Class A Trainee ProgramVista Trans Holding offers an opportunity for transitioning military members to begin a rewarding career in the transportation industry.During this program participants will:• Receive over-the-road training with experienced driver trainers• Learn safe operation of commercial vehicles• Gain real-world experience in long-haul freight transportation• Understand FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service compliance• Develop trip planning, load securement, inspection, and safety skills• Receive mentoring throughout the training processAfter successful completion of training, participants may qualify for a full-time CDL Class A OTR Driver position with Vista Trans Holding.
Participants receive paid on-the-job training while transitioning from military service. Successful graduates may be offered full-time employment with Vista Trans Holding based on performance and business needs.
Eligibility factors:
Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force
• Valid Class A CDL required• Eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and pre-employment requirements• Acceptable driving record• No DUI, SAP, or serious FMCSA disqualifying violations• Willing to travel over-the-road for training and employment
