Job description:
• Real-time monitoring of Comtech satellite router configurations and network performance using Comtech NMS and Dataminer.• Fault isolation and correction using network management tools; analysis of issues from installation, upgrades, configuration changes, or integration.• Opening, tracking, and resolving trouble tickets; maintaining accurate client support records.• Responding to client trouble calls with provisional and differential diagnosis.• Preparing reports on network utilization, performance, and activity; providing regular status updates to management and clients.• Supporting user training, documentation, and post-implementation technical assistance.• Research on network products, protocols, and standards in support of network development.
Position is at the Ovzon NOC facility in Tampa, FL.
