Tilson's senior leaders served in the military themselves and greatly value the SkillBridge opportunity for transitioning Active Duty Service Members. Tilson's SkillBridge program is a rolling and continuous application period since Service Member transition timelines are individual. Position dependent, Tilson provides an in-person or online (work-from-home) 90 to 180 day internship opportunity within various divisions that support Tilson's mission of building America's Information Infrastructure (Workforce/Outside Plant/Small Cell Wireless/Wireless Construction/Business Operations/Project Management/Consulting). All SkillBridge Interns onboard with new employees, receive all IT equipment mailed to their working or home location (laptop, multiple monitors, docking station, keyboard, mouse). Tilson's a highly collaborative, cross functional organization and it can be disorienting to some transitioning Service members. Interns are expected to ask lots of questions, reach out for assistance and at some point during their SkillBridge period, brief a presentation of their military service for the greater good of the Tilson organization.

Project Management, Construction Management, Tower Technicians, Tower Foreman, OSP Construction, Fiber Optic Splicer, Administrative/Financial/Management Positions.
Tilson's internship program delivery method, In-person or on-line, will correlate with the nature of each internship role. Field positions such as tower technicians, OSP, fiber, etc. are in-person internships. Roles that can be fulfilled successfully through on-line means such as IT, PM, accounting, etc. are remote internships with access to local Tilson offices.
