The curriculum will consist of 3 weeks of formal classroom training in Portland, OR, and 4 to 8 weeks of OJT on an operating wind park.
Job description:
Vestas American Wind Technoloy is actively hiring to support the high demand for wind technicians throughout the country. Technicians will focus on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and learn to operate and troubleshoot wind turbines.
Initial training is located in Portland Oregon followed by an OJT period on a wind park in the US. Open positions near JBLM, Tacoma WA.
Eligibility factors:
All Services
Drivers license, clean driving record, comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50lbs.
