MCA is seeking a DoD SkillBridge Intern – Security Technician to gain hands-on experience learning the installation, service, and troubleshooting of commercial security systems. This opportunity is for DoD SkillBridge-eligible active-duty service members only and requires command approval.
The SkillBridge Intern will work alongside experienced MCA technicians to learn how to install, test, troubleshoot, and support security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion/burglar alarm systems, cabling, card readers, cameras, door strikes, magnetic locks, panels, and power supplies.The intern will assist with project installations, service work, low voltage cabling, basic testing, inventory support, time entry, and documentation. This role is ideal for a transitioning service member interested in hands-on technical work, field service, low voltage, communications, electronics, IT, networking, or security systems. Prior experience is helpful but not required.
