Job description:
Project Manager: The Project Manager (PM) will be overall responsible for the planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and delivery of projects. Additionally, the PM may be tasked in the development of proposal documents for projects they are likely to be assigned to. Specific responsibilities of the PM are outlined below:• Develop a project scope based on documents from the customer like request for proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ). This project scope will be utilized by the commercial department to establish contract terms and conditions with the customer. • Utilizing the scope, establish a work breakdown structure (WBS) of all pertinent milestones of the project delivery. • From the WBS, coordinate with the commercial department and assigned PE to identify vendors for the project. Develop supply scope for each of the identified vendors for gathering pricing and lead times.• Utilizing gathered vendor data, develop a project schedule and cash flow• Upon project acceptance, Develop key documents like the project charter, project specification and any other documentation requested by the customer.• Manage cash flow and payments with the commercial department throughout the project. • Coordinate with all vendors and the assigned project engineer to execute the project on schedule.• Provide continuous communication to the customer of the overall status of the project.
