The service member will gain hands on experience within multiple careers that keep our business operating day-to-day.
Job description:
Fulfillment ~ Interns will gain efficiency in the fulfillment process; specifically, pulling, scanning and packing basic orders, wholesale orders, returns, and maintaining correct inventory counts. Training will also include the Bulk Storage Warehouse for inventory control, restock protocol for bulk item replenishment and the opportunity to train and get licensed on forklift use. Optional Customer Service Training with our Customer Service Department will be available.Custom Apparel ~ Interns will become familiar with custom apparel practices. Skills will include research, effective communication, order processing, as well as understanding sales trends, forecasting blank needs and pricing.Tactical ~ Interns will learn about development of and testing/evaluating tactical clothing, order quotes and processing, inventory management, and transportation/event planning. Skills will include research, effective communication, organizational planning, order processing and customer service with interaction primarily with law enforcement and military units.Logistics Coordinator ~ Interns will learn about order processing, inventory management, and transportation planning. Specific skills will include exploring various freight modes, understanding bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs paperwork, learning how to communicate effectively with vendors and carriers, visiting warehouses, learning about storage, picking, and packing. Interns will also review safety protocols and compliance requirements.Master Data Analyst ~ Interns will understand how to analyze data to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Interns will explore techniques for cleaning and standardizing data and dive into specific domains to map data elements across systems. Interns will understand how to reconcile conflicting data from different sources and become familiar with data-related policies.Supply Chain Analyst ~ Interns will gain an understanding of supply chain processes, systems, and key metrics. Interns will learn to identify relevant data sources, train on tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization software, explain common supply chain metrics, learn how to interpret KPIs and identify trends and learn how to identify root causes of supply chain issues.Product Development ~ Interns will deep dive into our products—getting to know what we offer and what things we are missing. Specific tasks will include creating resource documents and style guides for products we offer, understanding different fabrics, their properties and applications, identifying the target market and consumer preferences for upcoming seasons.Human Resources ~ Interns will fully understand the roles and responsibilities of a Human Resources manager, recognizing the significance of the job, and impact on the company. Some specific HR skills will include maintaining legal compliance and consistency, fostering effective communication skills, running and interpreting reporting for employee metrics, and gaining a basic understanding of benefits offerings.E-Commerce Product Coordination ~ Interns will assist the E-Commerce team in providing a seamless online shopping experience for our customers. We offer a wide variety of products over six websites and are committed to keeping our online store organized, user-friendly, and efficient. Interns will gain hands-on experience using Shopify to organize products, update product listings, and optimize product presentation. They will also assist in collection launches and product creation.
