Rafael Systems Global Sustainment, LLC (RSGS) occasionally offers retiring or separating senior officers and retiring or separating senior NCOs from any Service an opportunity to learn executive skills through immersion into the defense arms industry. The RSGS intern proceeds through an eight week learning program and is assigned a project against a known market gap. The RSGS intern learns by doing market analysis, conceptualizing and detailing a strategy, conducting the pursuit and capture process, builds a business model, then presents the business plan to corporate leadership. The RSGS intern graduate is advantaged to compete in the defense industry as a business unit director or executive management position in a defense firm. The internship normally runs for 120 - 180 days.
The RSGS internship graduate is practiced at executive level market analysis, business practices of pursuit and capture planning, conceptualizing a business strategy and plan, executive level engagement in the civilian marketplace, and well placed to be competitive for employment and leadership in any major or mid-sized defense industry firm.
