The Knight Moves program offers modern in-depth software craftsmanship training,exposure to cutting-edge software development techniques, and domain-specific knowledge, all whileyou gain extensive hands-on experience as a member of agile commercial product development teams.As an intern, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysisand design to implementation, testing, and deployment. You'll work with modern programminglanguages and frameworks, contribute to code reviews, and participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprintplanning, and retrospectives. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams,including UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality softwaresolutions.

Before applying for the internship individuals must complete, at no cost to them, the on-line Knight Moves Foundations Program. Preferred that individuals complete their internship in Jefferson, Iowa, where our modern technology office is located for long-term employment.

Individuals can complete at their own pace and to their own schedule. Live support is provided as part of the program. Completion of the Knight Moves Foundations Program includes passing a hands-on two hour on-line live assessment to demonstrate the program's content was learned. Successful completion of the internship requires a hands-on four hour in-person or on-line live assessment to demonstrate the program's content was learned.
