Their job includes diagnosing problems, performing routine maintenance, ensuring systems run efficiently, and following safety and environmental regulations.A Heating Oil Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs oil-fired heating systems such as furnaces, boilers, and fuel storage tanks. They perform routine maintenance, diagnose and fix system issues, clean and tune equipment for efficiency, and ensure safe operation in compliance with industry codes. Their role may also include inspecting fuel lines, replacing parts, and educating customers on proper system use and upkeep.A propane service technician installs, maintains, and repairs propane systems used for heating, cooking, and other energy needs. They inspect tanks, regulators, and gas lines, perform safety checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems comply with safety codes and regulations.
