Your roleAre you currently transitioning from the United States Armed Forces and seeking a career opportunity in the Financial Services Industry? Are you an aspiring wealth management professional, but don’t know where to start or what exactly you want to do? UBS is seeking transitioning Service Members like you to participate in our DOD SkillBridge training program.We’re looking for someone like you to join our upcoming SkillBridge Program at the UBS Wealth Advice Center.You will:• study and complete the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam within this program• make outbound calls to existing clients to schedule review conversations with our Financial Advisors• gain broad exposure and experience working closely with wealth management professionals• benefit from real life experience of a day in the life of a financial advisor and what skills are needed to be successful• participate in on-the-job training, instructor led training, and scenario based training to help you develop professionallyYour teamThe UBS Wealth Advice Center is a UBS branch located in Weehawken, NJ and Charlotte, NC committed to providing advice and guidance to Emerging Affluent clients through a consistently delivered digital client experience.The UBS Wealth Advice Center currently serves over ~300,000 clients. Our clients are served remotely (phone) by a team of more than 300+ professionals including both Financial Advisors and Associates—who work individually with clients to understand their needs and assist them in achieving their goals.Our program, together with the vast resources available to you at UBS, is designed to enable you to build and deepen relationships in our existing client base by providing them with exceptional wealth management services and solutions.Your expertise• Only transitioning Armed Service Members approved for DOD SkillBridge will be considered.• 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge• a strong interest in wealth management, financial markets, and relationship building• a strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interfacing with colleagues at all levels• an excellent problem solver and collaborate well with other people and teams• work in a fast-paced environment while being able to think clearly in complex situations• highly detail oriented and resourceful in leveraging resources to accomplish the task at hand• proficient with Microsoft Suite Applications, including Outlook, Word & Excel• someone that works well with a team and able to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detailAbout usUBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
