USMC Sector Portfolio Senior Advisor: DoW Skillbridge FellowshipPosition DescriptionThe MCPIC Program Support Intern will assist in the expansion and operational execution of CGI’s MCPIC program, working closely with a Senior Consultant to drive program growth and support delivery activities. This internship is designed for Skillbridge candidates or CGI Fellows looking to gain experience in program management, content development, data organization, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination within a federal consulting environment. Candidates will develop practical skills in project support, communication, analytics, and workflow optimization while contributing directly to an impactful internal growth initiative.Your Future Duties and Responsibilities1. Program Development SupportYou will help shape and expand the MCPIC program by assisting with research, documentation, process mapping, and the creation of new program materials. This includes supporting strategic planning discussions and capturing requirements needed to grow program capabilities.2. Content Creation and Knowledge ManagementYou will assist in building MCPIC resources such as slide decks, and reference documentation. You will also help maintain the internal knowledge base to ensure information is clear, accessible, and up to date.3. Data Tracking and ReportingYou will support data collection and tracking efforts related to MCPIC participation, engagement metrics, deliverables, and program outcomes. This includes helping prepare simple dashboards, weekly summaries, or leadership briefs that highlight progress and identify opportunities for improvement.4. Process Improvement and Operational SupportYou will analyze and recommend improvements to existing workflows, tools, or communication processes. Additionally, you will support day-to-day operational tasks such as organizing files, updating project trackers, coordinating tasks, and ensuring the overall MCPIC program runs efficiently.5. Communication and CoordinationYou will coordinate with internal teams, SMEs, fellowship participants, and leadership to help maintain smooth communication channels. Activities may include scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and summaries, gathering feedback, and ensuring stakeholder alignment on program goals.Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role• Background in Supply Administration and OperationsExperience performing inventory management, supply documentation, and logistical recordkeeping within Marine Corps supply systems such as GCSS-MC. Understanding of procurement workflows, reconciliation, and audit readiness.• Strong Administrative and Reporting SkillsDemonstrated ability to maintain accurate logs, prepare supply reports, track statuses, and update records with precision. Experience generating daily, weekly, or monthly operational summaries is a plus.• Process and Workflow DisciplineFamiliarity with Marine Corps supply chain processes, accountability procedures, and standardized operating instructions. Ability to follow structured workflows while identifying areas for improvement.• Data Entry and Information Management ExperienceHands-on experience entering, reviewing, validating, and organizing supply or operational data. Comfortable maintaining spreadsheets, trackers, and digital documentation repositories.• Effective Communication and CoordinationProven ability to communicate with supply officers, logistics personnel, and cross-functional teams. Skilled at conveying information clearly, providing updates, and coordinating actions across stakeholders.• Attention to Detail and Compliance MindsetAccustomed to working in environments where accuracy, documentation correctness, and adherence to policy are essential. Experience supporting inspections, reconciliations, or readiness evaluations is highly relevant.• Adaptability and Learning OrientationAble to transition from military supply systems and procedures to commercial consulting workflows. Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and government program structures (CGI, MCPIC, and DoD Skillbridge).• Basic Technical CompetenciesComfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), digital trackers, shared drives, and structured workflow tools. Familiarity with database-oriented systems from military supply operations is especially helpful.• Teamwork and Mission-Focused MindsetA background in supporting unit readiness and logistics mission execution translates well to collaborative program-building work. Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and follow-through.
This position will mostly be remote. There may be some in person opportunity but for the most part it will be a remote fellowship position.
