Job description:
What You’ll DoTravel to client sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and start-up power distribution systems.Perform acceptance and maintenance testing on switchgear, transformers, relays, breakers, and cables.Collaborate with senior technicians to complete complex projectsProvide mentorship and technical guidance to Level I trainees and assistants.Conduct relay calibration, IR scanning, and power meteringUse advanced testing equipment including Megger, Omicron, and Enoserv RTS.Interpret test results and assist in preparing comprehensive field reports.Complete Job Hazard Analyses and ensure safety protocols are followed.Rotate into on-call duty for emergency response and service needsSupport the technical sales process with insights from the field.

Minimum Requirements:2+ years of experience in electrical testing or related fieldworkCurrent NETA Level II certification or NICET equivalentStrong understanding of electrical power systems and safety proceduresExperience with testing equipment and methods for low, medium, and high voltage systemsFamiliar with NETA ATS/MTS standards and NFPA70EAbility to work both independently and with a teamWillingness to travel up to 25% for regional and national projects
