Our program would be designed to prepare transitioning mental healthcare providers for civilian sector service, particularly service members who are interested in pursuing a new career within private practice. Separating healthcare team members will have an opportunity to utilize skills honed during active-duty service, while maintaining their specialized training and passion for high-quality patient care as a SkillBridge intern. For the right candidate, this internship will lead to a fulfilling career at bareWell with full-time and part-time position available after the conclusion of SkillBridge.
Job description:
Clinical Therapist position: A flexible schedule is important. Perform clinical services to patients as scheduled. Individual, Group, Family and/or Couples Therapy, Conduct Psychological and/or Neuropsychological Testing) Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to client sessions. Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics. Attendance at monthly team meetings and CEU trainings. Participate in Group Consultation Meetings. Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.). Timely and accurate completion of written records for each patient. Ability to work proactively, independently, and with a high level of organization. Team player, willing to collaborate with bareWell team. Contribute to your own and others growth and development within bareWell. Critical thinking and attention to detail with strong time management ability

The qualified applicant must have: Doctorate or Master’s Degree Current State of California license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LPCC. Willing to work average of 15 clinical hours per week (if part time) and average of 27 clinical hours per week (if full time), additional administrative hours as needed for meetings and documentation to equate to a 40 hour work week.
