Job description:
This internship aims to produce and hire an aviation expert project engineer. ASTi plans to train the candidate to complete Project Engineering and Program management tasks that will supplement their existing knowledge of aviation. The successful candidate will be offered a career as a full time member of our team at the completion of this program. They will work with our team of Computer, Mechanical, and Aerospace Engineers to innovate our products and support our customers. During this internship, the candidate will learn: Customer interfacing and support Defining requirements and understanding project scope Standard product integration how-to Existing customer and programs overview Product development pipeline overview Interfacing to internal product developers as an project engineer Product marketing strategy and marketplace overview
The candidate must spend time in our office in Herndon, VA to learn from our engineers.

Aviation background required. Pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, Instructors, or Simulator Instructors are all good candidates. An interest in technology is required. A training or simulation background is desired. Knowledge of computers and computer systems is desired.
