SkillBridge Intern – Nutanix Infrastructure & Cloud ServicesPosition SummaryWe are seeking a motivated, SkillBridge-eligible candidate to join our infrastructure and cloud services team through a hands-on training and internship program focused on Nutanix technologies, virtualization, and modern data center environments. This opportunity is designed for transitioning service members who are interested in building a career in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, virtualization, and consulting services.The program combines structured technical training, mentoring, hands-on lab work, and real-world project shadowing to prepare participants for a future role supporting enterprise customers in hybrid cloud and virtualization environments.No prior Nutanix experience is required. Candidates should possess a strong interest in technology, willingness to learn, and a professional, customer-focused attitude.

Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in structured technical training focused on virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and Nutanix technologiesLearn fundamentals of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, storage, networking, and virtual machine managementAssist with deployment, configuration, and support of virtualization and cloud environmentsShadow experienced engineers during remote and onsite customer projectsSupport infrastructure implementation, migration, and upgrade activitiesParticipate in hands-on labs and guided troubleshooting exercisesLearn data protection, disaster recovery, and system monitoring best practicesAssist with hardware installation activities including racking, stacking, and basic cabling when requiredDevelop customer service and consulting skills through team collaboration and client interactionWork toward Nutanix industry certifications during the internship programDesired QualificationsActive-duty military member approved for the DoD SkillBridge ProgramStrong interest in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, virtualization, or data center technologiesBasic understanding of computer systems, networking, or IT support concepts preferredStrong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional attitude with strong attention to detail and customer service mindsetWillingness to travel occasionally for onsite training or customer engagements, if neededTechnologies & Concepts Covered During TrainingThe SkillBridge program may include exposure to:Nutanix AHV, AOS, and PrismVirtualization technologiesHybrid cloud infrastructureVirtual machine deployment and managementStorage and networking fundamentalsData protection and disaster recovery conceptsCluster deployment and maintenanceInfrastructure monitoring and troubleshootingCloud migration and automation conceptsProgram StructureDuration: Approximately 4–6 monthsCombination of self-paced learning, instructor guidance, labs, and on-the-job shadowingOpportunities to participate in real-world customer projects and deployment activitiesCertification-focused training pathway with mentorship from experienced engineersCareer Path OpportunitiesSuccessful participants may be considered for future opportunities supporting:Infrastructure deploymentsVirtualization and cloud consultingData center operationsMigration and implementation servicesEnterprise infrastructure support teams
