Job description:
Successful candidate(s) will be using their Project Management expertise and experience to support both internal UFA and external Customer activities. Specific responsibilities include the following: - Determine and define project scope, requirements, and objectives - Manage the project lifecycle from Proposal Development to Project Delivery - Serve as the single point of contact between UFA and the customer(s) for Project decisions - Collaborate with distributed UFA and Customer project teams, both domestic and international - Develop and manage detailed project schedules, including resource needs - Report on project progress to key internal and external stakeholders - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers and communicate expected deliverables in support of logistics for domestic and international deliveries - Measure project performance to identify opportunities of improvement - Utilize Project Management tools to allow for industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution
In person training will occur in Gaithersburg, Maryland; however, remote training and work will be primary method. Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field - Minimum of 5 years of Project Management or related experience - Minimum of 1 year experience with international logistics support, including export and customs documentation - Proven ability to solve problems creatively - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Excellent oral and written communications skills - Experience on US Government or FAA programs preferred - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred - Due to US Government Security requirements regarding Contractors working on Government Programs, successful candidate(s) must be qualified to apply for a Position of Public Trust clearance - Domestic and International travel may be required
