Fellows work alongside experienced maritime professionals supporting small boat operations, maritime security training, curriculum development, operational planning, and customer engagements while developing the skills necessary to lead and manage professional maritime training programs.
The Maritime Operations & Training Fellow supports Six Maritime's operational and training programs through a structured professional development experience. Fellows assist with planning and executing maritime training events, supporting small boat operations, developing instructional materials, conducting classroom and practical instruction under supervision, and assisting with operational planning and quality management initiatives.Throughout the program, participants develop experience in:• Maritime operations• Small boat operations• Maritime security training• Curriculum development• Instructor development• Exercise planning and execution• Operational risk management• Leadership and team coordination• Quality management• Customer engagementFellows gain practical leadership experience while supporting training and operational programs serving Department of Defense, government, and commercial maritime customers.
