Our Skillbridge program offers a unique opportunity for Service Members interested in pursuing a career working with Cloud Computing, specifically AWS. They will spend 24 weeks learning the fundamentals of AWS and getting hands-on experience with Trek10’s team members to help contribute to our cloud initiatives. The goal of our program is to help Service Members transition into a full-time Cloud Engineer career with Trek10 upon completion of the Skillbridge Program.
Job description:
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:The Cloud Engineer is the expert implementer, building platforms and systems that are relied upon by our clients and Trek10 itself. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Own the implementation of stories and other engineering of advanced cloud work for clients Perform research and documentation for problems and potential solutionsBuild on Cloud Native patterns, IoT back-ends, Serverless architectures, and highly automated work patterns and delivery methodsAugment and design support systems and response procedures and coordinate hand-off to CloudOps Support EngineersAssist with designing, estimating, and planning effortsParticipate in cross-functional implementation teams to deliver solutions to clientsContribute to internal IP and open source developmentLearn, research, and stay up to date on best practices and evolutionary capability in the AWS cloudShare knowledge and skills with other Trek10 team membersOther duties as assigned
