Our Logistics and Mission Support Division is seeking a US&R (Urban Search & Rescue) Technician to join our team in Edgewood, MD in support of Defense CBRN Response Force mission. The selected candidate will perform the following responsibilities:• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair US&R equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards for DCRF missions.• Prepare refresh and sustainment equipment for US&R and Medical Company Area Support (MCAS)• Perform regular inspections and testing of equipment to ensure functionality and readiness.• Support logistics coordination for equipment delivery, fielding, and sustainment activities.• Provide technical guidance and support to personnel regarding US&R equipment operation.• Assist with the inventory maintenance and recertification of equipment.• Identify and address equipment shortages or service needs.• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of MCAS equipment and software used in DCRF missions.• Utilize, and maintain inventory system (VIPER) to track equipment status and updates.• Prepare and update documentation, including maintenance logs and reports.• Required to travel to fielding, and sustainment visits in various locations about 25% of the time.• Update the Program Manager weekly on working tasks, activities, and responsibilities.Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant military experience preferred.• 2+ years of experience in US&R equipment maintenance, and/or MCAS,• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and knowledge of US&R and MCAS equipment.• Experience with mission command systems and automation tools is a plus.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Assist team with movements, inventories, and refresh.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.• Must be eligible for a security clearance.• Experience with inventory systems and computer skills such as Microsoft Office.• Must be comfortable working in warehouse and field environments. Preferred Qualifications:• US Military CBRN US&R position experience.• US Military logistics understanding such as supply accountability, and supply storage.• US&R equipment knowledge experience.• Small engines knowledge.• Forklift driver (Stand up and/or Sit down) experienceAdditional Qualifications:• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.• Valid Driver’s License
