Quality Engineer (Staff Engineer I/II)

The position is responsible for developing and implementing word standards, facilitating continuous improvement, and participate on new product development teams. Objectives:-Create visibility on all levels of company regarding performance and initiatives through action trackers and KPIs.-Utilize applicable engineering tools to investigate and define corrective and preventive actions pertaining to defective components, materials and products through Internal Quality Notification (IQN), Supplier Quality Notification (SQN), and Customer Quality Notification (CQN).-Participate as a member of the internal ISO-9001 Quality team – writing procedures, supporting and conducting internal and external audits and quality reviews. Also, lead Six Sigma improvement and cost reduction efforts (FPY, scrap reduction, etc.).
