By way of Hands-on Demonstration/On-The-Job Training (OJT), the Special Agent candidate will be equipped to provide support in multiple areas inclusive of, but not limited to investigative actions. Job description:
Special Agent: Supports and learns from criminal investigators responsible for conducting investigations of suspected felony violations against the laws of the United States and the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in which the U.S. Army is, or may be, a party of interest. Independently directs, manages, coordinates, oversees, and conducts felony criminal investigations, crime prevention activities, criminal intelligence analysis, terrorism counteraction operations, logistical security, protective services, and force protection operations that transcend installation, state, or even international boundaries. Investigations include, but are not limited to, murder, manslaughter, armed robbery, kidnapping, sex crimes, assault, arson, larceny, burglary, black market activities, illegal drug violations, cyber crime, espionage, and white-collar crime such as bribery, fraud, extortion, and conflict of interest.
