Job description:
The Loan Officer is responsible for helping individuals and families secure home financing by building relationships with clients, real estate professionals, and referral partners. In this role, you will guide borrowers through the entire mortgage process—from the initial consultation and loan application to approval and closing—while clearly explaining loan options, including VA loans, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations. Success in this position comes from strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to deliver an excellent customer experience while meeting production goals.

Candidates must be located in or be willing to travel to San Antonio for the duration of the Training. Complete the 20 hour SAFE pre-licensing course (paid for by Alta Home Lending)- Pass the federal NMLS licensing test (paid for by Alta Home Lending)- Complete the Texas state pre-licensing course (paid for by Alta Home Lending)- Complete a background check (required for licensing and to access Acrisure Systems, paid for by Alta Home Lending)
