Summary description:
Summary:The CMT project manager position is responsible for the day-to-day management of numerous small to medium-sized projects. This role is engaged with project procurement, daily communication with field staff, daily review of deliverables and reviewing transactions prior to invoicing. A CMT project manager is also responsible for reviewing project documentation, create client deliverables, and communicating with clients to solve project related issues. This position spends most of their time in the office but performs regular site visits for preconstruction/weekly meetings or to meet client expectations.

Major Accountabilities:• Quality, Safety and Operational results• Project Management and CMT resource optimization• Works with Operations Team to Develop Sustainable Growth Strategy• Relationship Building with internal and external customers/clients//Responsibilities:• Preform all aspects of project management activities throughout the life-cycle for multiple CMT projects at once• Provides technical oversite on CMT projects• Works with engineers and project teams to provide clients exceptional technical expertise and recommendations.• Understands company’s core services and can identify areas of opportunities for other disciplines to get engaged with a client• Can perform field testing duties if the need arises• Attends external society meetings and functions• Have face-to-face meetings with potential and existing clients• Help train, review and supervise CMT field technicians

Minimum Experience, Education, and Technical Skills: •High School Diploma or equivalent• Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record• 2-5 Years experience working in construction materials or quality control-related field • Demonstrated successful project management experience• Supervisory experience strongly preferred• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality• Ability to deal with ambiguity, pressure, and stress• Strong organization and customer service skills• Computer literacy - spreadsheets and word processing• Ability to travel regionally up to 20% of the time//Preferred:• Technical or college level training• ICC certifications • ACI and Nuclear Density Gauge CertificationJob Requirements: Pass a Drug Screening Test, Background Check, possess a valid driver's license.
