In this role, you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, fellow data scientists, and operations research analysts to support the Joint Warfare Analysis Center and other Department of Defense and Intelligence Community missions.If you're passionate about extracting insights from complex data, applying cutting-edge machine learning techniques, and helping shape national defense strategies, this is your opportunity to make a difference.Key Responsibilities• Collect, explore, and analyze complex datasets from multiple sources to uncover actionable trends and insights• Design experiments and perform statistical modeling, including testing and validation of predictive algorithms• Develop scalable, cloud-enabled data pipelines and automation for efficient model deployment• Create custom algorithms to solve analytical challenges with incomplete or high-dimensional data• Visualize and communicate data-driven findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business and IT leaders• Build web-based data prototypes and dashboards to support decision-making• Collaborate with database engineers and M&S experts to refine data management workflows and best practices• Contribute to the development and implementation of advanced data access tools, and train team members on new or enhanced systems

Required Skills• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and high attention to detail• Active TS/SCI security clearance requiredRequired Experience• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field• Expertise in data normalization and handling large, complex, or incomplete datasets• Strong proficiency in Python and/or R (VBA or MATLAB experience a plus)• Experience visualizing analytical results and building compelling dashboards• Familiarity with constructive simulation systems (e.g., AFSIM, ITASE, NGTS)• Proven ability to perform advanced statistical modeling and experimentationDesired Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline(with at least 30 semester hours in mathematics, statistics, or computer science)• Experience developing or enhancing cloud-based data solutions• Strong knowledge of data imputation techniques and applied machine learning• Familiarity with defense-related analytics or operational modeling preferredAt Radiance Technologies, your work has purpose.
