We use the time prior to their finite internship dates to complete our required HR processes that also include a 3 to 5 month (on average) full CBP Background Investigation (BI) that MUST be completed prior to internship start dates.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSocial Media Coordinator – Responsible for developing modern and engaging social media content to support LESCD’s external and internal communications goals and initiatives. Responsibilities include drafting, clearing, and posting social media content (i.e. photos/videos) on behalf of LESCD senior leadership and LESCD operations. Will be responsible for creating a constant flow of relevant social media content.Strategic Communications – Assists with managing the day-to-day writing and editing communication materials such as articles, newsletters, internal and external website content, news releases, brochures, pamphlets, posters, flyers, informational graphics, communication plans, talking points, and scripts. Must be able to use industry standard graphic design software and programs to produce graphic design work, such as the programs contained in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.Photography/Videography – Responsible for taking expert photos and videos of in-person LESCD engagements for internal and external use on social media, website content, and/or graphic design.
