We are currently expanding our team of technicians and looking for a skilled mechanic to provide maintenance and repairs on various types of ground support equipment.

ResponsibilitiesService varying types of GSE which include but not limited to: aircraft jacks, hydraulic power units, ground power units, towing equipment and vehicles, engine slings and hoists, etc.Perform proof load testing on aircraft jacks and other lifting equipmentRepair and rebuild hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsTroubleshoot issues or problems with equipment and determine repairs neededVerify proper operation of equipment in accordance with OEM manuals and testing proceduresCalibrate varying gauges such as pressure gauges, temperature gauges, and flow metersDocument all work performed and complete service reportsCommunicate with customers and answer questions on services performedMaintain a clean and safe shopTraveling to local and non-local customer facilities is required. Overnight trips across the USA happen frequentlyPerform other related duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesAbility to use common hand tools and power toolsAbility to read and comprehend procedures in OEM and service manualsMechanically inclined and detail orientedMust be computer literate and willing to learn how to use the company’s software systemsAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment3+ years driving experience with a valid driver's license and acceptable driver historyPhysical DemandsAbility to lift 75 lbsApplicant must hold a valid driver’s license and be a U.S. Citizen or be a U.S. Permanent Resident.On the job training is provided. Mechanical experience of any kind is beneficial. Previous experience working with GSE is a plus, but not required.Pay rates are based on previous experience and qualifications.
