This structured training position is intended for individuals with little or no prior experience in information technology, database administration, or enterprise systems.Working under the guidance of experienced Oracle Database Administrators and technical mentors, trainees receive hands on instruction in Oracle Database architecture, database administration fundamentals, Linux operating systems, database security, backup and recovery concepts, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and professional consulting practices. Participants gain practical experience through classroom instruction, self paced learning, job shadowing, laboratory exercises, and supervised project activities while developing the foundational skills required for an entry level Oracle DBA career.The primary objective of this position is professional development and career transition. Upon successful completion of the SkillBridge program, participants may be considered for employment with WBL Solutions based on demonstrated performance, company hiring needs, available positions, and mutual interest. Participation in the program does not guarantee employment and does not obligate either party to enter into an employment relationship.

Position TitleOracle Database Administrator (DBA) TraineeProgramDepartment of Defense SkillBridge ProgramReports ToSenior Oracle Database Administrator, Technical Lead, Training Manager, or Assigned MentorPosition OverviewThe Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Trainee is a structured learning position designed to introduce transitioning military Service Members to Oracle database administration and enterprise infrastructure support. Participants are expected to have little or no previous database administration experience. Through instructor led training, self paced coursework, mentoring, laboratory exercises, observation, and supervised technical assignments, trainees develop the foundational knowledge necessary to support Oracle database environments.This position focuses on technical skill development, database fundamentals, systems administration concepts, troubleshooting methodologies, and professional consulting practices rather than independent production support. The position will be held on site and in order to be considered for this position you must be willing to locate to the Spring City, TN. area for the training. This is an entry level position, and the salary is based on that. Salary increases with progression toward Level 1,2 and 3.
