Job description:
Spring Canyon is a Christian retreat and conference center in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado that includes a full-service commercial kitchen capable of serving three meals a day for up to 200 guests per meal. Serving in our kitchen will provide the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and food service management experience in the following areas: proper food storage and preparation, managing and maintaining necessary stockage levels, and safe food service methods. We follow ServeSafe standards and methods in our kitchen and dining room, and we can offer opportunities to become ServeSafe Food Service Manager certified while serving in our kitchen. We can also offer opportunities for certification and college credits in food preparation and service through the Rouxbe online culinary training program.
Housing on property may be available. Meals are provided when our kitchen is operating.
