Rigid Tactical

This SkillBridge Internship will focus on a program tailored by on-the-job training to develop your existing military technical experience to develop contract training products and use them to meet DOD specific policy.

Duties/Responsibilities: Interns will work from our Gulf Coast Program site located in the Eglin AFB, Florida area. • The intern will work directly for our Gulf Coast Programs Manager and will participate in a practical, systematic program structured through on-the-job training to develop their existing military technical experience. • Candidate will gain an understanding of small business operations, learn the basics of business development, and how training services contracts are delivered and executed for DoD agencies. • Candidate will become familiar with the capabilities and use of Rigid Tactical provided systems, software, hardware, and products for meeting job and professional requirements. • During this internship you will learn how DoD training and administrative products are used to meet specific DoD policies for course supervision, curriculum management, and instructor qualification. • You will gain an understanding of how to assess training risk, develop appropriate risk assessments and corresponding mitigation methods IAW government policy. • Candidate will learn how to create and manage schedules for employees, equipment, training areas, and assist in the management of other partner or government resource.• Performs other duties as assigned.
