The Network Technician I is involved in a wide range of exchange operations, including the installation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of all network operations center equipment and infrastructure. The employee performing in the position will be directly responsible to the Network Operations Supervisor. In his absence the employee will be responsible to the Chief Operations Officer. The employee shall cooperate and work with all other departments for the maximum benefit of the company or as directed by the Network Operations Supervisor. The employee shall work a regular 40 hour week as scheduled by Network Operations Supervisor.

The preferred candidate should have knowledge and experience in computer networks, hardware, and software. Essential duties include researching and recommending new technology, maintaining security practices, and assisting with cybersecurity frameworks. Responsibilities also include installing and configuring network equipment, performing system backups, troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining network documentation. Additionally, the role involves supporting various operating systems, protocols, and technologies, such as Windows, Cisco, Linux, VMWare, and ISP networks. The job does not involve supervisory responsibilities, but it requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. *The complete job description with essential job duties will be sent prior to the interview.
