AqTEAM Realty's SkillBridge program is an in-person industry training experience based in our San Diego County office, built for transitioning service members in their final 180 days of service. Interns learn the residential real estate business from the inside: listing and buyer consultations, market analysis, contract-to-close operations, client communication, and lead generation. You train alongside our founders and a 20+ agent team with an assigned mentor, a written weekly training plan, and milestones reviewed throughout the program. San Diego is a military community and we serve military buyers and sellers every day, so service members arrive already understanding PCS timelines, VA loans, and base-adjacent neighborhoods. Participants remain on active duty and continue to receive military pay and benefits from the Department of Defense; AqTEAM provides all training at no cost to DoD or the participant. Our goal is a full-time role on the team after separation.
Job description:
The Real Estate Agent Trainee follows a structured path toward California DRE salesperson licensure and a full-time agent role with AqTEAM Realty. Day to day, you shadow producing agents on listing appointments and buyer showings, prepare comparative market analyses, help stage and market new listings, support files from contract to close with our transaction coordinator, maintain CRM records and lead follow-up, and take part in open houses, team training, and weekly sales meetings. Alongside this, you complete California's required pre-licensing coursework and prepare for the state exam. We are looking for someone coachable, organized, and comfortable talking with people; no real estate background is required. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are needed for field work across San Diego County. This role reports in person to our office, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend showings or open houses.
Position is held in-person and on-site at our office in San Diego.
