Through observation and assistance with preparation and follow-up activities, the participating individual will learn critical product specifications, uncovering customer needs, managing customer follow-up and overall go to market support. Over time, the participant will transition to limited participation and delivery of key milestones including roadmap strategy design and monthly operational review preparation and delivery. Job description:
The Lead Solutions Engineer will: Serve as a technical expert on products and services, understanding their features, benefits, and applications. Work with the go-to-market team to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions. Provide technical and tactical support during customer briefings, customer exercises, and customer demonstrations. Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and documents for customers and prospects in the military, government, and civilian markets RFPs (Request for Proposals), and RFIs (Request for Information). Lead the analysis of customer requirements and design solutions that meet their needs. Collaborate with Product Development and Engineering teams to ensure solutions are feasible, aligning customer needs with product capabilities. Work with customers and end-users to customize and configure products to fit customer specifications. Conduct technical training and onboarding sessions for customers. Coordinate the process of addressing and resolving any technical issues or concerns raised by customers. Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and engineering teams to ensure understanding of the trends and needs of the target market(s), and alignment and support of business objectives. Other duties as assigned.

Must have: 8+ years of experience in a military role, evaluating/coordinating/implementing innovative hardware and software solutions that have been tactically deployed in the field. Strong technical knowledge of relevant products and services. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams. Proficiency in procurement processes for government/military. Proficiency in CRM software a plus. Education or experience in meteorology a plus. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel as needed.
