The Director of Military and Veteran Affairs leads the vision and goals of the office, overseeing daily operations, staff, and budget management. This role ensures accurate certification of veteran educational benefits, advocates for veterans on campus, and collaborates with various university departments. Responsibilities include developing outreach and recruitment strategies, cultivating relationships with veteran organizations, and providing support services like academic advising and career counseling. The director ensures compliance with veterans’ education benefits regulations, promotes an inclusive campus culture, and manages data on the university's veteran population.
