Summary description:
The printing presses are automated and are used to print 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 colors. Every printing press is operated by a press operator and press assistant. The printed order is subsequently finished in the finishing department.Goal of function: Printing (min. 4 colors) of polypropylene sheets of different sizes, according to the detailed planning and meeting with the general quality requirements set out by the customer by adequate usage of machinery and raw material.
Job description:
Our Press Assistants are responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Job Duties:• Assists the Press Operator: set up materials, printing press feed, printing units with ink and other supplies and logistics activities. Maintains job information in ERP system• Assures quality - realizes specifications of printing job• Performs daily maintenance and preventive maintenance and cleaning of printing press to ensure a clean working environment.• Operates a transporter pallet, operates interface of the printing press and Cutstar control panel.• Understands Risk and Safety and Hazard and precaution StatementsQualifications:• Work SAFELY- Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.• Be DEPENDABLE- regular and predictable attendance and work overtime when required• Be a TEAM PLAYER- ability to assist others with machine set‐up, run, and clean up• Be CARING- respect others and communicate openly• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required• Ability to work in the US without compan
