Job description:
The Houston Fire Department exists to enhance the public safety paradigm for the City of Houston – its residents, industries, and infrastructure. Firefighters have an integral role in achieving the HFD’s mission to save lives, property, and serve the community. Firefighters in the HFD respond to emergencies such as wildland and structure fires, hazardous materials incidents, motor vehicle extrications, and high-water rescues. Representing a uniquely hazardous occupation, service as a Houston Firefighter requires an uncommon commitment to personal sacrifice in deference to the public good
The 2nd portion of training, applicants must have EMT or Paramedic certifications to enter this portion. If not see other Houston Fire posting for the 1st portion of training. All training will be done at 830 Braniff Houston, Tx 77061.
