Job description:
Responsibilities Execute general engineering duties supporting manufacturing processes, including preparing detailed studies, drafting technical documents, and developing specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules to optimize production efficiency. Coordinate with Project Management, Proposal Writing, and Budgeting teams to communicate project needs and timelines effectively, ensuring alignment of resources and objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive operator procedures for the shop floor, addressing real-time production challenges and facilitating smooth operational workflows. Drive projects from conceptual stages through production, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget constraints, while maintaining high-quality standards. Lead and participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions using lean manufacturing principles. Conduct thorough inspections and field assessments to verify compliance with manufacturing and safety specifications. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective measures promptly. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all engineering activities, supporting audit readiness and process transparency. Undertake additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
