Revv Aviation - Avionics

As an Avionics Technician Intern, you will assist with avionics troubleshooting, repairs, installations, fabrication & modification of wire bundles and assisting the Revv Aviation Maintenance department as needed.

Performing avionics inspections, repairs, alterations, and installations on aircraft in accordance with current technical data provided. Fabricating wiring bundles in accordance with engineering drawings and current technical data provided. Performing installations of wiring in aircraft, as well as the removal of wiring from the aircraft. Performing altitude reporting system, static system, and transponder checks per 14 CFR part 91.411 & 91.413 and part 43, Appendices E and F. Repairing components approved under the repair station capability list. Properly operating all specialty or calibrated tools and equipment within your assigned area of responsibility. Properly recording the work performed in accordance with methods established by the repair station. Maintaining the preservation of all parts during the work process installation with proper handling and storage. Reporting all missing or inoperative tools and equipment to the Avionics Supervisor. Maintaining all shop equipment and vehicles in a working and fully functional order.

Interest in Aviation Industry. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to obtain FAA repairman certificate. Must be 18 years of age. Must have current driver’s license. Must have high school diploma or GED. Must be able to safely operate company motor vehicles. Must have basic computer skills. Must be able to work in temperature extremes and in confined spaces.
