Essential Duties & Job Functions:• Conduct detailed market research on federal government contracting trends, procurement forecasts, and emerging opportunities, with a focus on strategic growth areas.• Analyze competitor activities and positioning to provide intelligence that supports business development and capture efforts.• Collaborate with the Operations Manager for Growth Strategy to integrate market intelligence into broader growth initiatives.• Provide regular briefings to senior leadership, presenting complex data in a clear and actionable manner.• Stay informed on federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS) and other relevant procurement guidelines to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.• Monitor and track key opportunities in the government contracting market, providing timely updates and recommendations.• Support capture teams by delivering market insights that influence proposal development and win strategies.• Work with CRM and other data systems to maintain accurate records of market intelligence and opportunity tracking.• Partner with internal teams to identify potential risks and opportunities related to shifts in the market or competitor landscape.

Mandatory:• Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal government contracting, market analysis, or competitive intelligence.• In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition processes and contracting vehicles.• Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.• Proven track record of delivering effective briefings and presentations to senior leadership.• Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple tasks and priorities.Preferred:• Experience supporting business development or capture teams in the federal contracting market.• Familiarity with CRM systems and market intelligence tools.
